the names "the multiple cat" and "the marlboro chorus" were coined by matt trimble, the former being a ridiculous idea about cat litter being better for more than one cat, and the latter being a reference to a coffee klatch that met in his mother's house smoking cigarettes.
An early Multiple Cat record got a review from Punk Planet that read " This is a record I will enjoy never playing again, ever".
